Caffeine is a quirky first person psychological horror adventure game with environmental puzzles.
Set in the near future, the entire population of Earth is vigorously addicted to coffee. Massive space stations built by the biggest corporations roam the stars mining minerals to create a synthetic caffeine. You awaken aboard one of these caffeine mining stations alone.

Before long you realize that you are a young boy with no memory of what has transpired on this seemingly empty space station. Naturally you set out to explore the depths of the huge structure to figure out what exactly is going on.
Caffeine is currently in development utilizing the power of Unreal Engine 4, which allows for a very high visual fidelity and a fairly fast development period.

This game has some flippin' insane graphics. Go Unreal Engine!
It's a pretty general horror experience, but the story (or at least the story I got from only playing a small amount of time) is really great. Pretty cool early game.

Hey Guys! I just played the new DEMO Of "Caffeine" and although there was not that much to play I can say that I am VERY Impressed with it!

I think that the game had GREAT Graphics and the framerate (for the most part) was pretty good! Although there were the occasional Lag Spikes that would occur here and there but nothing too Big.

I found the game to be TERRIFYING At times as well! Couple of Jumpscares Really Got Me!
The sound was also very good, When the "Girl" Whispered in my ear it sounded like it was actually in my Room! It kinda Freaked me Out! :P

But Without rambling I can say That I FULLY Support this project and am VERY eager to Play the Full Game hopefully some time in 2015! :D

Here's the Link to my Playthrough of the game on YouTube -

Also if you guys would ever like to send out future "Alpha" Builds of the game for Testing I would be Happy to do so! :)

I really liked your demo, a little laggy at times but that's alright :DD. I didn't realize there wasn't an ending till after I died and quit. I spent a while looking for the ending :3. Over all very good for an alpha. I look forward to the updates coming :D.

Here's my take on the game. You're short, really short and wake up from a coma. You're name is john conner and just survived the half terminator half alien war against the humans. The great war has left you in space to find a new home for the human race. But weird things are happening in the space station and the only human alive besides yourself or so you think has stayed that way because of caffeine. Now you must fight to stay awake and alive against this ruthless killer from your childhood nightmares!!!!

Just played the latest release demo, and I'm very impressed. Can't wait for the release, this game looks absolutely wicked.

My question, is there going to be any combat system to this (which doesn't look like it) or is it going to be more like Outlast/Amnesia where it's more stealth and evasion?

Rather, are there actually entities or is it going to be more Psychological and suspenseful?

I downloaded the 1.01 Win32 version and decompressed it. When I double click on the Caffeine Launcher and then click on the Play Caffeine button I get a message "File not found". Any idea what is happening? I am running Win XP sp3, 4gb ram, 3.0 ghz core 2 duo and have the MS C++ 2013 Redist package installed. Any idea why it won't run?

Hi there, if the launcher is not working try going into the files and find CaffeineGame.exe , that should work if the launcher fails :)

Thanks for the reply. I tried that and double clicking on the Caffieingame.exe I get a message telling me that it is not a valid 32bit application.
