This has nothing to do with hunting, hunting has ethics. In real life if you fail making a killshot you track down the animal until you find it and put it down. In this game the world is your shooting gallery, it's just a shoot-em-up. They gave you a gun and made the enemies regular animals instead of aliens, nazis, zombies etc. it's weird. It's much more like a regular action FPS than a hunting game.
I never forget, there was a level in Africa in which you sit in a car and shoot down 30+ buffalo like a regular turret sequence, it's nonsensical. If you're looking for a real hunting game try "theHunter" or "Way of the Hunter" instead. If you want some oldie but goldies Cabela's' previous hunting games were much better, or you can always return to "Hunting Unlimited" Series.
