This is just an updated demo. I fixed some of the errors in V0.2.03 and added new code to improve it a little.
When you pop a bubble you score points and XP, the currency of the game which you will use to buy upgrades and patches. Now you can also string together combos, meaning popping more then one bubble in a row. This lets you earn more XP faster, but don't miss a bubble or you lose XP. The Combos also let you score more for every bubble you pop. You'll be able to save your game and continue at a later time if you want.
You can upgrade your pea shooter by buying upgrades and patches from the weapons shop. Some upgrades and patches will have an achievement requirement. So in order to buy it you first need to unlock that achievement.
Some achievements will be real easy to unlock and some will be damn near impossible. One of the hard ones will let you buy a laser cannon and it's upgrades and patches will all have achievement requirements.
Levels and Rounds
You progress through the game by completing a set number of rounds on each level. Each Level gets progressively harder to complete. And each completed Level unlocks an end of Level Achievement which unlock new upgrades and patches. I plan on adding around 10 Levels with about 5 to 8 rounds each.
There's gonna be a massive change in how the game works. I've also started reworking the game engine and making things easier for me to work with. I've added and change a few things here and there. Once I've released the final demo I'll start working on making it a full version and hopefully have it done by the end of January may be March. I'll try and have it done by then, since I'm doing this in my free time. And that's some thing I have very little of.
