The last thing in the world we need are more flakes, leeches, and people that will leak our works. Those without any sense of propriety (or understanding of confidentiality and the dev process) are why new applicants have to to jump through many hoops. A true game of substance is what we aim for, therefore, standards must be kept high.
If such ideas are foreign to you in the development of a game, well, there are many mods and hobbies out there to join that are not Beyond the Red Line. Recent events have shown us that there's a large percentage of people who would take quantity over quality any day of the week. But if you don't share that opinion, happen to possess very good skills, a long-term desire to help us bring our vision to life, and want reap the rewards of excellence... Please Contact Us

Brought to you by the Freespace 2 Source Code Project, Hard Light Productions and Game Warden. We give you BSG: Beyond the Red Line. Beyond the Red Line is a total conversion for the Freespace Open engine. Available both as a Total Conversion for Freespace 2, or it's own standalone game, BTRL seeks to bring you the very highest quality in gameplay.
Graphics? Oh yes! With Omniscaper leading the way and using the powerful FS2 engine enhanced by the Source Code Project and all the very latest in graphical tricks, BTRL will have the most detailed and beautiful ships ever put into the Freespace engine.
Storyline? The storyline will be focused on the series, with all the twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat. With RedAssAg05 (aka, Dukeman42) at the helm, the storyline will be sure to rival that of the series in it's depth.
Massive dogfights? You betchya. Massive dogfights with hundreds of enemy craft on-screen at one time. Friendly AI and Enemy AI perform complicated flight maneuvers using physics that are almost perfect simulations of the show.
Multi-Player? With Coop,TVT, deathmatches, and King of the Hill, all you will have to worry about is that guy on your tail. Wanna see it? Get to downloading the teaser below, or go and look at our beautiful collection of screenshots. You won't be sorry. Teaser Video

This is the mod I've been searching for ever since I first got hooked on BSG. I love the show, pretty much watch it religiously. Was pretty upset over the recent episode though. But on the brighter side there's this amazing looking mod. Love all the vids, great fracking job and please keep up the amazing work. Xfires perf3ctdark for anyone who's got xfire here.
Release before END OF MARCH? Even if it's gonna be end of April I will be so happy and pleased. I want to fly with the squirrel-squad and playtest the toasters zero-g abilities.
Thank's for the info,
great news indeed!
SinKing
Aww great news :)
If you want to see all the updates, please keep track of Game-warden.com . Happy \:\) It's our forum, and where most of our stuff goes.
At the moment, though, we are currently bugtesting, voice acting, and doing some sound work. After that, we're done. Hopefully (and don't hold us to this), we'll have a release before the end of March.
Juhuu. Happy that I found something like this. Never thought that Freespace 2 (or the Engine) could look so good!
But the most important thing about this is, that if the demo comes out I don't longer have to wait for the beginning of the second season of BSG here in Germany!
Thank you so much
In other words you don't need FS2 to play it.
Brillaint job team, by far the best looking Battlestar game out there.
Anything new happening? Why don't you people update on Moddb? Or don't you have any news? (But still 20% - c'mon...)
Ready for flight training,
SinKing
Maybe the demo of Wing Commander Saga can sooth you for a while. It is also made using FS-open and it's much better than the last actual WC-games I have played. Its a pretty good game and it is already playable.
I think its a huge letdown to announce a demo for a certain date and not even come as close as half a year to it. Appearantly finishing the game as standalone is severely more difficult than the devs thought and even experienced teams (like from World of Padman) find out that there are more obstacles om the way than expected.
Its just no good to keep everybody waiting without an even slightly accurate release date. Can't you just say Q1, 2007 and push a beta release, no matter what. You can still make patches, which everybody expects of a great and diverse game like that anyway. I really want to fly my Raider! And my toaster wants a laser gun!
See ya, SinKing
I can't wait for some sort of demo to come out
On your last news post I wrote that Freespace 2 is now abandonware... which I now know is not true. You can still purchase the double pack of Freespace 1 and Freespace 2 on the budget game range of "White Label" games. I just thought I might get you guys to delete the post on your news so people know that they can still buy the game to play your most excellent mod... thanks...
