First off, the BTRL team thanks everyone who voted for BTRL in this year's Mod of the Year contest.

Now Omni releases the Normal Map Capital Ship Benchmark test, showing off normal mapping and battle between Battlestars and BaseStars. Also appearing is something everyone has been waiting for. Kudos to Scotchy for the modeling and Omni for the Texture work.

Strap in and hold on.

It's the Battlestar's Flak guns, if you look hard enough you can actually see the clouds of flak are destroying missiles incoming at the Battlestars.

it looks impressive, but it seems that the Basestars are way to small compared to the Battlestars, and i hope that the BTRL developing team will make the missiles a little more visible in the real game. good job modeling the battlestars.
