One year ago I uploaded the first video of Brick Inventions. Here's how the game evolved over the time.

One year ago, I uploaded the first video of Brick Inventions. Many things have changed since then and so I thought about making a video, which summarizes everything that has happened in this year. Here it is:

So what happened during the year?
When I uploaded the first video in July 2013, the game was in a very early development state and so I focused on implementing the core mechanics and game-modes. That included tools like the Join-tool, the Inventor-mode or the Sandbox-mode. After that was done, I completely recreated the resource system in September before I focused on improving smaller things (like more stable physics or the options-menu,...). In November, I started to implement more blocks to the game (Accelerator, Trigger and Gate) until January 2014, when I wanted to focus on more important things in order to get the game finished. That's basically what I've been doing since then. I updated the graphics, fixed bugs, created the first multiplayer-map and prepared a demo version of the game (It's still not finished but the big parts are almost done).

If you want to know more details about the game, check out the development blog: www.brickinventions.net.

It's been an awesome year and I would like to thank everybody who has followed this project and has given me feedback. I've already learned so much since I started with the game and I hope it won't disappoint you.

Stay tuned :)
