There is no doubt that, like many other developers, we also had trouble trying to get our games onto Steam.
Being out from the popular DD platform forced us to stop updating the game.
The launch of Steam Greenlight (TM) gives now to devs like us a new chance of getting games on Steam.

This is our page.

Hi NemixXx,

all Gamepad XInput compatible ( Xbox 360 or compatible ones ) are supported, but many directInput ones works too ( we did many test with a ps2 pad with a PC converter usb adapter for example ).

Are you planning on supporting modding with this game? While the realistic approach is rather neat as well, I will preorder in a heartbeat if I know that somewhere down the line, I or someone else can work on a mod that will make it akin to something more like Mortal Kombat or Soul Caliber.

Hello friends.

You touched a key topic.
This game not only can be modded, but rather
it was BORN to be modded.

We thought from the beginning a concept simple yet scalable, and extensible, that could easily be modified by a community.

So we certainly plan to make available to enthusiasts and fans tools to unleash their creativity.

But, how sure many of you know, the tools used by a small team of six people who work daily in the same room communicating by voice, have not, unfortunately, the same stability, flexibility, accuracy , usability and documentation of tools of famous games that have been used by thousands of modders.

Currently, our tools are not mature to be made available to the community. To make this possible we need to consolidate, re-engineer and especially document them.

But that will be possible only after we have reached a minimum of financial security that concerns our future.

BTR project is our most important, and since we are also publishers of ourselves we are not bound to other subjects, so if things go well the first thing we'll do is continue to support and improve the game for long time after the release of June, the second to release our dev tools.

Completely understandable for your situation. Sounds like you've got a plan, and I hope you can follow through with getting development tools out.

Also, preordered. :)

Graphics are OK. Obviously Doesn't pretend to be Crysis-like but looks like a mid-2000 game. ( first games of next-gen if you get the idea ). The controlls are a little bit hard, but the artificial inteligence is very smart. But the great part of the game is physics. Ragdoll physics of this game is incredible. It's even better than big name studios titles that usually use it only for ko's. Here ragdolls are always present in the fight and thanks to them you can feel every hit as little bit different…

While I admire the developers attempt to create a ragdoll beat-em-up, I have to say, that this is simply the worst indie title I have ever played. The controls are incredbily clunky and sluggish. Combat is difficult and there are almost no combos at all. The combos that do exsist are simply punch, punch, or kick, kick, kick. "Special" moves are difficult to pull off, and certain characters are simply better to play than others due to their knock up and knock down capabilities. Characters have spines…
