Braid is a puzzle-platformer, drawn in a painterly style, where you can manipulate the flow of time in strange and unusual ways. From a house in the city, journey to a series of worlds and solve puzzles to rescue an abducted princess. In each world, you have a different power to affect the way time behaves, and it is time's strangeness that creates the puzzles.
Beautiful art, but rather boring gameplay.
This game is in my opinion one of the best games I've ever played. Every world has a different gameplay, visually stunning artwork, beautiful matching music.
After three times playing trough the game, it is still a great puzzle platformer.
Puzzles are refreshing and challenging. The idea of time manipulation - brilliant. The overall theme reminds of Mario nothing is directly ripped off or copied but it gives the game a slight hint of nostalgia.
Overall: this is a masterpiece, a mustplay for any gamer out there who is fond of interesting puzzles and enjoys a well-written story.
It's a cross between a puzzle and an arcade. The unique atmosphere, unique opportunities. But it is very difficult.
This game is just awsome and i must say it realy is hard! but i like that :). This will remain as my best indie game for a log time i am sure of it!
I love this brainfucking story =D
An astonishing piece of art.
Love. Great visual style and sound. Great gameplay. Takes a simple mechanic and really plumbs the depths. This is what games aspire to be.
Absolutely amazing game. The style, the gameplay, and even the story were phenomenal. I got it with the Humble Indie Bundle, but I would definitely pay full price for the game just to support the developers.
Je n'ai pas autant apprécié que les rumeurs l'ont dit.
Sans doute le style graphique auquel je n'accroche pas et certaines enigmes un peu trop difficile..
