Border Recon is a 32 multi-player third-person shooter. A tribute to SOCOM. Pure infantry battle in the height of Desert Storm.
This project is being developed from the ground up by a solo developer Jen with the help of Leadwerks Engine to provide the rendering and IO processing utilities as well as sound management. It was started in December last year of 2016 and is now approximately 8 months in development.
The game is planned for release in Q1 of 2018.

Update: latest devlog "Border Recon - Updated Weapons List".
Hi, I have made a new list of weapons that will be added in the next version of the game. This list includes the following:
The list is based on the Desert Storm wiki found here: En.wikipedia.org
I've added the models for each weapon in game. The weapons will be available in the upcoming version (0.2d).
I will continue to make progress despite tight schedules (my study in the University is taking my attention away from programming momentarily).
This is a new loading screen artwork I created several days ago, I will make more of these in the future. The idea is to alternate the artwork that gets displayed in the loading screen.
Thanks for reading. It's a short update. 0.2d will be released soon.
