Realism. Intensity. Relevance. Temperatures and tempers are rising. Boiling Point: Road to Hell is set in the intense tropical heat of the South American jungle, where players take Saul Meyers, a decorated Legionnaire, way beyond the limit of any man's patience. Saul has reached his point of no return - his life threatened, his family compromised – he’s a desperate man, ready to take matters to the ultimate extreme to protect the life of his daughter, Lisa.

Boiling Point offers an exciting gaming experience, delivering play focussed on action and interaction in the first or third person. Set in the South American jungle, the massive gaming world spans 625 square kilometers, bigger than the city of Chicago, and is populated throughout with friend and foe. Asynchronous loading of required resources creates a seamless game world with no levels and no loading times, allowing for the non-linear plot to give the player the chance to choose exactly how they play the game. Guns blazing, or sneaking around? Rescue Lisa, or leave her to rot? The choice is yours.

There are hundreds of NPC’s to interact with, all of which behave differently and offer different types of information depending on what you ask and how you ask it. Every encounter and every interaction within the game directly affects your standing and reputation in the eyes of the 6 NPC factions, with potentially dire or wonderful consequences resting on a knife edge of decision. Many vehicles can be bought, stolen or hijacked to help you travel around the massive environment or to get you out of trouble fast, including cars, trucks, helicopters, boats and even a tank.

This game isn’t about keeping your cool - this game is about reaching BOILING POINT!

The game's installer is retarded. I have it and in the manual it says a 2GHZ or higher. I'm running a Sempron at 1.8 at the moment and it plays it fine with a 256 AGP and 1.5gigs of ram so nothing wrong there. The game is amazing in graphic detail. Sure. The gameplay? If I could lose more sleep in any other game, I would pick Pokemon over this horrible voice acted piece of trash. Amazing graphics, amazing fx, horrible acting, never lags on me but always does for others for some reason, and it is missing half of the voice files it should have been bundled with. Sometime you ask someone a question, and they don't even talk anymore. It just subtitles it because they don't have a voice file. What kind of morons make games like that? The world is quite literally the largest and richest environment I have ever seen. Shenmue has nothing on this. The most disgusting piece of trash though when it comes to enjoying this. If anything, it's engine should be reworked and this should be modded sure. But for Christ sake take the game off the shelves. Shame on you Atari....

Dude, have u seen how few made this game? i think it was 15 that made the game. It is over 30 for Warcraft 3...

They did an amazing game for just 15 people.

Anyway after i read that i stop caring for the bugs, I just avoid them and play (and use them). XD

LMAO paulwish you really need to get a life mate if games make you abusive like that you should really see a psychiatrist...Just because people are noting the fact you need a really good computer to run the game only helps the people who are planning on buying the game...Maybe if you went outside, made some friends and maybe even get yourself what we normal people call a girlfriend you wont take games so seriously.
