Walking animations! And characters facing and walking in both directions; both of which weren't possible before. I'm very happy with this, please enjoy :)

Critical Mission Failure.
Actually the entire video qualifies to that.
Not sure what you mean? With all the falling I was trying to demonstrate that the bodies retain their momentum when they transition from animation into being driven by the physics engine (Box2D).
COOOOOL! NiCe progress!
As always, thank you!
When do you estimate the release of the next demo will be?
There are features from the previous demos that I need to restore. Part of that is to make the new character bodies hold and aim the weapons. (The characters may look the same but much of their functionality is re-written.) I'll estimate it to two weeks if I can dedicate my weekends :)
Dude is the Player Character will be in SWAT, OMOH, SAS, Uniforms? and are you going to add Bullet Proof Vests that blocks some bullets?
The player will look different from the others. Armor: a big YES to that one. :D I don't know which specific uniform it will be but the first one will probably be something I just throw together. Still it will be lots cooler than the current clothes.
COOOOOOL! Keep it up! i will always support this game!
Thanks for the reply! Looking forward to it :)
hahaha, looking great.
Although i do like the first one better as the second one.
Still, it is VERY hard to get a realistic looking walking animation.
So, you did well!
Leon
Thanks! I agree the first one is better. I made the stiff one before that one and I didn't see how weird it looked until I could compare them. Quite a difference! I hope it can become even better with a few more tries :)
I Liked it, but it seems the walking is a bit robotic, i would love if you could make it look a bit more natural, make the arms a bit more jerky and make the posture more erect in the first animation
Yes it's very hard to make it look natural. I think I can make it a bit better with some practice. I think a key to that is minimizing vertical movement for the torso. The first one's posture looks a bit like a neanderthal, good point about making it more erect. I'll try moving the arms more too. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
