The on-going space voxel project by the six sibling studio, ZanMgt! A labor of love, Blockade Runner is an ever-evolving development that's currently undergoing a major engine overhaul to provide a solid foundation for the game's bi-weekly builds. We've found the bi-weekly builds to be an enjoyable and healthy development cycle and are anxiously preparing the game for their return!

The next version of Blockade Runner is humming right along, already sporting a performance boost that modestly improves the frame rate, as demonstrated in the photo below!

Speed difference in 0.70.0!

While Nathan’s been tidying up the shaders, Zack’s been cleaning up some of the stability issues in the multiplayer, and overall just making it easier for us to work with.

Multiplayer in 0.70.0

Things are going pretty good at the moment and we’re hoping to have the 0.70.0 update available with even more improvements before the end of the week! With the editor in a stable condition (we wanted to leave you at all times with something playable), we’re a little less shy about pushing out the updates. =D
