"Dropship designed to carry 48 marines into enemy ships or hostile planetary environments. The Typhoon dropship is outfitted with 4 cruiser-class plasma launchers. Although mostly useless against fast-moving fighters, there guns give it the ability to blast holes in enemy armor, allowing it's compliment of infantry to enter enemy ships through the hull. To further ease this task, the Typhoon is equipped with magnetic clamps to attach to the hull, and an extra large airlock to allow up to 24 troopers to cycle out of the ship at the same time. The Typhoon is also equipped with an advanced sensor suite, allowing to to pinpoint weak spots in enemy defenses." - Vininator
