The on-going space voxel project by the six sibling studio, ZanMgt! A labor of love, Blockade Runner is an ever-evolving development that's currently undergoing a major engine overhaul to provide a solid foundation for the game's bi-weekly builds. We've found the bi-weekly builds to be an enjoyable and healthy development cycle and are anxiously preparing the game for their return!

This seems to be as good a place as any to say, the decision to add angled surfaces in addition to blocks is truly one of the core reasons that drew me to this game.

I love the block look and all, but it just makes things ugly most of the time. Now THIS, even though it isn't far off, takes me back to Doom, DN3D, (and other build.exe games) as well as a million others.

I'm not one to turn all crazy-fan about something very easily, but I found a link to this game, watched all the YouTube videos in a row, and bought it about 10 minutes after trying it to make sure it worked.

Looking forward to the new release. Thanks for all the hard work!

We never set out to make a block game, and it's part of why we've actually tried to stay a bit "under the radar" until we knew we could secure our vision. We really want that vibe of the 90's 3D games, but taken into the 21st century with complete destructibility, object oriented gameplay, HD visuals (wait until the deferred renderer's back up and running!), and where appropriate physics.

Thank you for your support, we appreciate it!
