The Debut 4 Bundle is the latest collection of great indie titles from Indie Royale. There are six featured games: Block Story, ASA: A Space Adventure, "Beware Planet Earth!", Diadra Empty, Bollywood Wannabe and Undead Legions. There's also a lyrical bonus album from Vidboy: Metal Case Mental Case - for those who beat the $7 price.

Block Story
Block Story from Mind Blocks is a block mining game with added role playing. It features an infinite world, 25 quests, clever terrain generation, loads of weapons & vehicles and great graphics.
Block Story is available for Windows & Mac via Desura.

ASA: A Space Adventure
ASA: A Space Adventure by Simon_ASA is a first-person slideshow adventure game made in tribute to Riven and 2001: A Space Odyssey. You play as an astronaut in 2057 who finds a strange black cube, which will teleport him on an unknown spaceship called the Ark. You will soon discover that you're not the first astronaut from planet Terra to come here: Philip Forte lived the very same experience in 2011 and, fortunately, he left a diary explaining his story. With this help, you will visit the Ark and try to access the various environments and planets, with one single thing in mind; going back home! ASA was created by a single person for the love of puzzle games and if you're fond of the Myst or Rhem series you will enjoy this journey!
ASA: A Space Adventure is available for Windows via Desura.

"Beware Planet Earth!"
The Martians are about to strike our beloved planet in "Beware Planet Earth!" from Lightmare Studio. They're here to take our single most valuable resource: cows! Protect Barney's "ladies" in this colorful and whimsical tower defense game! It has the 46 level Full Story Mode plus 18 bonus challenges and two game modes: Veteran mode for experienced players, and normal mode for beginners to the tower defence genre.
"Beware Planet Earth!" is available for Windows & Mac via Desura.

Diadra Empty
Your sister is missing. On the bright side, you have a flying dragon. Diadra Empty from Rockin' Android is a free-roaming shoot-'em-up on a grand scale. Take the role of Nyalra and her faithful dragon Minimi in a fantastical quest to save her missing sister, battle legions of monsters and menacing bosses. The touching storyline is complemented by the game's beautiful 2D visuals, particle effects and environments rife with enemies, and glowing projectiles. Diadra Empty gives you extreme speed and maneuverability, huge environments in which to seize the upper hand, and plenty of firepower and upgrades.
Diadra Empty is available for Windows via Desura.

Bollywood Wannabe
Do you have what it takes to be a star? In Bollywood Wannabe from Chrysaor Studio, Bollywood is about to be rocked by a fantastic new film. The producer is an unknown and his script has been rejected by every publishing house. The stars have never been in a film before. The budget is practically zero. But none of that matters - all you need to have a smash hit is passion! The passion to dance, anywhere and any time... whatever it takes to make your dreams come true. Help Kumar and Kendra make their dreams of stardom a reality with Bollywood Wannabe, a video game with a unique mix of rhythm and platform elements. Dance your way through each of the movie's scenes - can you dance well enough to make the public want to join in? Will this movie be an indie success or a forgettable flop?
Bollywood Wannabe is available for Windows via Desura.

Undead Legions
Top-down undead smashing is what you get with Undead Legions from Key17Games. It's played with one of four different characters, single-player or in co-op with up to four players. Use magic, place traps, launch devastating starfire bombs, power up your hero, and be prepared for challenging boss fights.
Undead Legions is available for Windows via Desura.

The Bundle Album $7 Bonus
The bundle bonus album is from Vidboy. It's the recently released, lyrical Mental Case Metal Case. Beat the $7 price to get this bonus album.

You can find more information on The Debut 4 Bundle, including real-time statistics and its current price, on its official website or via its Facebook, Twitter andGoogle+ pages.

I can't edit my above post - but anyway. I got to play it a little bit. I only had an hour to play and 3 hours later I had to pull myself away. Very nice work! Looks great, runs great, tons of mobs, crafting, weapons, swords, flying that drains your mana, and on and on. Well worth the money.

I don't know if this is still being developed, but a couple of things I noticed - no sound when breaking blocks (pick axe hitting block or breaking a block by hand). Also, is there a way to adjust I think it is called mouse smoothing or mouse acceleration - that mushy feeling or laggy feeling looking around. It is tolerable, but it makes me feel like yuck.

Other than that, I think it is a great game and can't wait to build my car. I actually played this instead of Far Cry 3 today. I love breaking blocks that much.

if everything goes according to plan, we will continue developing it for a long time.

As a matter of fact, another person did complain about the mouse rubberband. version 4.4.1 was released about 2 hours ago, and does feature the option to turn off the mouse rubberband. It is set very low by default, but can be set lower. Go ahead and upgrade when you have a chance.

You want that effect if you are recording video, but for regular gameplay it gets in the way.

I am very glad you are enjoying the game. There are lots of cool things coming:

* Riding dragons
* Atlantis
* The moon
* Turning monsters good.

and more.

That new update really fixed the controls nicely. Feels so much better without mouse smoothing.

Is there a way to limit FPS like vsync? The FPS counter says I am running between 380-600 FPS. It heats the GPU up pretty good and could probably drop that GPU temp by limiting FPS. I have an ATI GPU and the AMD Control Center vsync does not work (as far as I know it's just an ongoing ATI problem).

The only other thing that feels a little awkward is picking up blocks. The character won't pick up blocks standing still, you have to move just a tiny bit, and feels like the auto pickup radius might be a little small where you have to make sure to walk directly over the blocks to pick them up.

I really like the quests. I am on just the first few where the people are having me gather materials for a monster proof house, a weapon, etc. It really adds a lot to the game when you have little goals to accomplish.

We might be able to do the vsync thing.

When you level up, one of the skills you can improve is how far the auto pickup reaches. Press F3 (I think) and spend your skill points in whatever you want to enhance

We have plans to add a lot more quests. But yes, for now the current ones are entertaining.

Thanks, that makes a lot of sense (auto pickup radius) and is actually a nice upgrade to work for.

This is currently my favorite block building game. It has a very nice feel now with mouse smoothing off and I'm getting that "just dig one more area" or "just one more quest" or "I will just explore over one more hill" feeling, which is a very good thing for a game to make you feel.

I tried it on a different weaker dual core Win XP computer and it runs 60 FPS, which is incredible on that machine. I don't think I need to run it on the quad core very often, so not worried about vsync. I wish ATI would fix their control center to make global vsync work instead of making games force vsync.

Oh, and I really like the light given off by different materials. The nighttime looks really nice with the different colors - and it makes it easier to find materials you need. :)

Looks promising. 88 mobs is certainly detailed!
Would you consider changing the name? Even a weird one would be better than anything finishing with 'story' (although I've seen worse - anything starting with 'i' just has no hope).

I also recommend moving away from game features that are closely associated with Minecraft; I fully support your game as it is, but I know it will be more successful if other people aren't constantly comparing it to Minecraft.

Whatever you do, best of luck!

indeed, we try hard to stay away from Minecraft. We get lots of request for Minecraft features, and we reject them all.

We caved to pressure when we added crafting and doors, and of course we have the voxel terrain, which will make anything look like Minecraft. But other than that, we keep our distance.

I play Minecraft. Minecraft is the original. I cannot believe that people can just mooch off of other's successes. I hope Mojang sues this project, and I hope this project is highly unsuccessful.

Minecraft is not original. Minecraft was heavily inspired by Infiniminer according to Notch:

He went as far as to call it "an Infiniminer clone" right here:

In fact, the features we share with minecraft (voxel terrain) are exactly the same features minecraft shares with Infiniminer.

Just because someone makes a new type of game, doesn't mean that can be the only game of that type. Imagine if no one were ever allowed to make another roleplaying game because someone else had already come up with the idea of fighting fantasy monsters and leveling up skills? Or never had another racing game because someone else already made something with cars that go around tracks? Every genre has a first of its kind. It doesn't mean no other game like it is ever allowed to exist.

Is this game finished or still being developed? I just played the Demo and I noticed some issues. For example the rendering of the landscape appears wonky. Sometimes I can see straight through the ground. And some water areas appear to be raised above the ground like in hills. And sometimes the ground would not render while walking - I thought I was standing on the edge of a mountain.

I loved minecraft and its hard not to compare the two games. But I really like where this game is going.

I just realized what is going on. What you are finding is mud. In the demo and old version, too much mud was generated and in awkward places like hills. You can swim in mud, and you see through it. It often has water on top of it.

A lot of people thought this was a bug, they thought they fell through the grass and could look under it.

We have changed the generator in the full version you see here. Mud now is very rarely generated, and never in hills, but between hills and in deep holes. So this issue does not affect the full version at all.

I will update the demo soon, and this issue will be gone for you.

I would be more than happy to troubleshoot the issues you are having, feel free to drop me a message at:
or open a support ticket here:

The water above the ground is an old problem that should be corrected in the full version.
When you see through the ground it means the terrain is not done loading yet where you are, this should be a rare situation, and if you are seing it, there might be something strange going on in your set.

This game is just stunning its visuals. First few minutes that i played this game i was utterly impressed. This game may have a tiny things that are similar to minecraft ,but has excesscive things that minecraft doesnt have. Man i just got to give thanks to the developer for making this game he is a indie developer 0_0. This game provides a astonishing package for you to enjoy and i promise you that it is worth your money. From 80 mobs ,and floating islands ,dungeons vehicles over 12 weapons and…

I do not see how someone can spend so much time making a game that's 100% inspired by Minecraft, or more likely, the lack of adventuring/RPGing in Minecraft. This game clearly tries to fill that role Minecraft neglected, yet it doesn't make it any better. Leveling system is - to be frank - akin to that of Minecrafts, quite boring and lackluster (basically you just get +1 damage, +0.05 movement speed, +0.1 digging speed etc.). I could kind of let that slip if the game made any progress on the combat…
