Block Story combines the popular block mining with exciting and addictive role playing. Features: * Infinite world even up and down * 25 Quests, that give you objectives and hours of fun * Leveling up, and skill points to improve your character * Beautiful terrain generation with Hell, biomes, floating islands, forgotten sky, underground world and coral reefs. * Torches you can make and carry to light your way through caves * Equipment you can wear like "My Precious" (a powerful ring), and flippers (to swim faster) * Crafting, combine resources to create tools and weapons * Many weapons, like swords, magic, shields, guns, bow and arrow * 88 realistic mobs, from lizards to dragons, from clownfish to giant sharks. * Beautiful graphics, with colored lights, epic night sky, and bumped terrain * Vehicles: car, boat, diver suit, jetpack * Very fast, it works well even in older computers.

After an intense month of hacking and working hard on it, we have released version 5.0 of Block Story.
The changelog is ridiculously big. We have incorporated suggestions from our desura customers, as well as from other sources.
We went through 7 beta tests to make sure we delivered a quality product that you will enjoy. Easily, this is our largest release ever.
Major features include Creative Mode, Teleporting, a Radar, speed improvements and separate chests.
Enjoy the fruit of our labor, we have put our heart into it.
New Features
- The terrain loads 100% faster
- Placing and digging reacts instantly now, no more lag when building
- Radar as seen in this video
- Creative mode, now you have infinite supplies in creative mode
- Teleportation to beds
- New Quests for Radar
- Quests now teach you recipes as rewards

- Mass crafting, because clicking 500 times the crafting table really stinks.
- Fixed multitouch splitting. Tap and hold a stack, then with a second finger, tap an empty slot to transfer half your stack.
- Left mouse button uses blocks or digs them instead of placing (PC only)
- An easter egg that has to do with light, that is very cool.
Bug fixes
- Fixed issue where placing models particularly on frozen sea would not show
- Fixed picking up model items that would not stack in the inventory
- Fixed archery issue, where sometimes you would not hit a mob
- Fixed issue where big monsters could spawn half buried
- Fixed fog color underground
- Fixed dragon shield
- Fixed issue that caused items to disappear from the inventory when dragged over them.
- Fixed bug that caused multiple slots to be selected in he crafting table
- Fixed Hugo quest
- Many small fixes

This game is just stunning its visuals. First few minutes that i played this game i was utterly impressed. This game may have a tiny things that are similar to minecraft ,but has excesscive things that minecraft doesnt have. Man i just got to give thanks to the developer for making this game he is a indie developer 0_0. I am actually kindof tempted to buy it because I baught mc for unreasonable price when it had next too nothing in it and this game is quite new its got alot more features than minecraft has now and its much cheaper
So it's Minecraft with a larger world, the ability to fly, more mobs, and creatures in a block world that are not made of blocks. I like that you took Minecraft and went a step further. I don't like that it's still Minecraft despite that.
Marsha, there are tons of differences between block story and Minecraft. Infinite up and down, quests, leveling up, skill points, colored lights, floating islands, tons of mobs, cars, spells on mobs, guns.
Right about the only thing we have in common with minecraft is the block terrain, which minecraft copied from infiniminer, and arguably crafting.
Everything else is very different.
Saying this is still Minecraft is like saying Minecraft is still Infiniminer.
this don,t have our hands and mods that,s wierd.
there are recipe mods. More coming in the future.
We have not found some suitable hand models yet.

You cannot have colored lights or infinite up and down with mods. It needs to be designed in from the ground up.
You cannot have 10x the framerate with mods. This is important particularly for people with built in intel video cards
You cannot have full compatibility between mobile and desktop with mods. With Block Story you can move your worlds between them.
You cannot make Minecraft 60% cheaper with mods.
The worlds get automatically upgraded with new features, so you never have to chose between new features and your old worlds. Minecraft cannot do that even with mods.
You can add quests, more mobs, texture packs leveling and others to minecraft. But not everyone might want to install the mods.
All these people ripping off minecraft. He's SELLING the game too. You will eventually sued bro. Just saying.
