We’re proud to announce today that you can pre-order Blade Symphony from our website and start playing today. We’re really proud to show you what the game looks like now.

Since our last release we’ve done many things, launched a successful Kickstarter campaign which helped us secure a Source engine license; port all our code over to the Portal 2 engine, and overhaul the gameplay.
Each character now has three unique stances and forty different attacks. There are three different sword types (and more on the way), each with unique properties that lend themselves to particular fighting styles. You can fight in 1v1, 2v2 or even 2v1 duels on four uniquely set duel maps. We also have implemented a full free-for-all mode for each of the maps allowing you to fully explore each of exquisitely detailed maps and challenge other players to a duel.

So what are you waiting for? Jump on in and get duelling! We also encourage you provide us with your feedback on the beta. You can also keep track of developments on twitter, facebook and blade-symphony.com.

no blood ?:(
So, uh, congrats on going commercial and all (I don't know that I'll actually buy the game...) but you really should make the current version of the beta public; despite what you may think it would be good PR, no matter how different the real game will be.
Plus it'd, you know, be a thank you to the fans who have followed you all these years.
PS I am already in the closed mod beta, so this isn't a particularly self-interested suggestion or anything.
I would love to, but we were advised by higher powers not to do so.
Releasing the beta would mean that we could see what we are going to get (to an extent), it's always good to try before you buy (except for food):P
It is sad that people who already donated the 10 dollars for PHAN club end up getting nothing.
They never said we would get nothing explicitly, they said they would get nothing in regards to kickstarter ****, and that seems fair enough, they didn't contribute to it. Read between the lines morons
I kind of thought this would be an awesome mod to go commercial.
Something that's different on the Source Engine; I bet it would do great!
Also, just a little observation: If 1000 users were to donate $15; you'll get the license. Sounds like a realistic goal.
There is a known issue with launching Sidekick via the desktop or Start Menu shortcuts. Browse to your Blade Symphony install folder and run Sidekick.exe from there.
I have tried launching from the Mods folder yet it still has the same glitch. Im hoping the game gets the money it needs so i can play it again and you guys can gets the profit you guys deserve
Try installing sidekick again.
