A vision of a 2d Castlevania-styled game in a 3d world. Instead of using models, 3d sprites called voxel models are used, creating a unique yet classic look.
Fixed water interaction, re-wrote code, added sound effects.
WASD for movement
E for Actions
Space for Jump
Left CTRL for duck/dive
Sound effects added. I should note that one main reason that led to the shift was horrible problems handling audio I was having in the Mod version, and the sound limits.
Sounds are all mono, 22khz, 16bit.
Currently you have footsteps, splashes, drips, landing, and swimming.
Water has -hopefully' been fixed, you shouldn't fly through the world by accident anymore. Some minor fixes to the map, had some invisible walls and vanishing objects.
A HUD is now present and you can collect coins. Currently monsters are not scripted to do anything yet, and neither has combat been started. Should be next on my list now that I've dealt with water and getting much done in adding the sound effects.
