BIONITE: Origins™
is an upcoming, futuristic, first-person shooter & real-time strategy hybrid for the PC and iOS platforms. The core gameplay consists of piloting hovertanks in first-person, destroying other tanks or structures, commanding your squad to attack/defend certain targets, and a full strategy mode with base-building in the Strat game-mode.

Platoon Studios aims to bring back the almost-forgotten FPS/RTS hybrid genre. With BIONITE: Origins™ being called the spiritual successor to the critically acclaimed, 1998 PC game: Battlezone, there's a lot to live up to. But, with the help and guidance of Designer/Lead Designer of Battlezone & Battlezone II -- William Stahl -- the future looks promising.

We've been working hard towards delivering a fun and refreshing gaming experience for over 2 years now. Our current goal is finishing the basic Multiplayer game-modes, and then releasing the game on Steam. The Multiplayer game-modes being developed are Siege, CTF, Team Deathmatch, DM, and then, a full Real-Time Strategy game-mode (Strat), which you'll be able to control everything on the battlefield from the first-person view (or above with the satellite feature).

Once we're finished developing the basic Multiplayer game-modes (and while you guys are having fun online blowing each other up), we're going to be hard at work developing the Strat game-mode and the Singleplayer missions.

- Stat-Tracker System
- Ranked Servers
- Persistent Worlds

We released the final alpha for you guys to check out and provide feedback. Here's the link:

Be sure to read the Manual in the Menus for the directions. This is the Single Player Siege mission version. Just a few release notes:
If the screen comes up widowed, hit the F11 key.
THe HUD isnt setup for the different screen resolutions yet, you can change the resolution, then hit the T key to remove the dash. Im not quite done with the Reset Functions, so if you die in the game you might see some 'dead' bots, im getting to that. We really need feedback on this Alpha, so please leave comments. Let me know if you finish the game before the time runs out, it should be almost impossible to finish in 20 min. thanks - LtF

Many people based a lot of concepts from my initial ideas. Just like you giving Tanto credit for the modelling of my base design. I know it never got used..but that's not the point.I retracted my stuff in rebellion to the obstinate being presented by you this last time. The first time was due to Ravegun.

Considering that I'm not privy to what is being presented on Skype any further, I really don't know how to respond to your comments. Yet I will say that considering his manipulative manner. I'm sure the Whole truth has either been neglected or has been skewed to his advantage.
My best advise for you and anyone else is to believe what you choose to.
Best wishes to you and for the project.

Ive been a team member working on this game for a long time. after seeing the recent conversation, I am breaking my silence on this issue. I have seen this game grow from less than nothing into something that has a huge following with lots of people that are anticipating its release. I personlly am very impressed with the progress the team at Platoon Studios has made in the last few years and I have seen alot of people come and go. But this guy BZrom has just gone too far in his accusations. I dont think BZrom understands, but we have all elected to stay on the team to complete this game, and when you make false accusations with no documentation against LtFeed you are also making accusations at the rest of the team working on the game. We are fully behind finishing the game and Ltfeed as our Project Leader.

Lee you just need to stop. You have made this a personal matter with Ltfeed by calling him names like a little kid. We are all adults here, and if you cant say something that has some truth to it and isnt just namecalling - maybe you shouldnt say anything? You have made your point. We have heard you loud and clear, you dont like LT. Please dont make this a personal issue, if you have constructive comments to make about the game then please leave your comments. If you dont have anything constructive to say about our game, why not just make your own?
