Can you explain how Armor Class relates to "points absorbed"? How do you compute the benefits of Armor Class in a battle?
Can you do an example comparing two armor suits being worn during a battle, one with high AC and another with average AC but with pts absorb attached?

The Armor Class determines how well others can hit you. When an attack is resolved, the attackers Attack Rating and the defenders Armor Class yield a probability that determines the chance of a hit. IF the defender is hit, some of the physical damage is absorbed depending on your "Physical Damage Absorption".
I think I will do a feature about that issue and present the involved equations in detail shortly.
