Battlefield 3 is the successor to the acclaimed game Battlefield 2. It includes advanced and innovative features like Frostbite 2, the incredible technology that takes animation, destruction, lighting, scale and audio to new heights, Feeling the impact of bullets and explosions, dragging your fallen comrades into safety, and mounting your weapon on almost any part of the terrain, and unparalleled vehicle warfare.
Probably the Best Realistic Fps available for a Gaming console.
I personally played this for most of this year.
(Gathering much rage from others!)
I am Currently somewhere around Colonel and I am a premium player.
If you want Realism on an XBOX 360 then this is the game.
If you want a game that you want tricks and no-scopes then go play MW3
(I also play that)
BF3 also has many DLC's coming out and their tech team are always updating to make everything more balanced and fair.
Although I say 10/10, I truly mean a 9.5/10. The only reason in the entire world that I wouldn't give Battlefield 3 a 10/10 is just because there were so many glitches in the campaign.
The story itself, is awesome though, and I loved every bit of it. That combined with the awesome graphics and destructibility of the Frostbite 2 engine, and we got ourselves a done deal.
Multiplayer... the greatest and most fun in the world. Nothing can beat Battlefield 3's multiplayer when it comes to visuals, audio, detailed landscapes, destructibility, character animation, and vehicle gameplay! Everything is always balanced out and whenever there is something out of that balance, it is quickly fixed in one out of the many patches EA and DICE provide.
DLCs for Battlefield 3 are always fun, amazing, and different. Sof ar only Back to Karkand and Close Quarters are out, and both of them are just pure fun to play. Back to Karkand brings back 4 classic maps from Battlefield 2 and Close Quarters steps up the game in some serious CQC. Close Quarters is also nothing like Call of Duty like many people who haven't actually played it say. Because of the realistic elements Battlefield 3 brings with the Frostbite 2 engine, Close Quarters gets even better with HD destruction, where you can literally create holes in the walls with just your primary, even secondary, and kill enemies though them. Also all these DLCs bring new game modes, weapons, and new vehicles to play with!
Battlefield 3 Premium is worth it as well! For just one payment of $50, you will get plenty of new things, like dogtags, exclusive pro tip videos by DICE developers, participation in Premium Only events, and best of all you will be bale to play all the upcoming DLCs 1-2 weeks before official release. There are also features on Battlelog that will be unlocked for you to use.
Overall, Battlefield 3 is one of the greatest games to date and is worth EVERY penny.
