Changing the Speed of an Aircraft tutorial - Battlefield 2

So you have a cool plane, but you want to zip across the map at 10x the speed of sound?

Here's how.

Locate the .tweak file of the aircraft you want to mod (located objects_server.zip/vehicles/air/(theplaneyouwanttomod))

Search for these lines:

ObjectTemplate.setMinRotation 0/0/-600
ObjectTemplate.setMaxRotation 0/0/3000
ObjectTemplate.setMaxSpeed 0/0/100
ObjectTemplate.setAcceleration 0/0/600
ObjectTemplate.setTorque 200
ObjectTemplate.setDifferential 25
ObjectTemplate.setGearUp 0.7
ObjectTemplate.setGearDown 0.3
ObjectTemplate.horizontalSpeedMagnifier 2

They're pretty self-explanatory but if you are completely clueless, raise the acceleration and torque in small incriments. If you overdo it then you may speed off and have no control over your aircraft.
