In Battlefield 2, you are a part of a major conflict between the United States, China and fictious Middle East Coalition. You are armed with modern weaponry (different for every side of conflict) and additional equipment. Player can drive any of 30 vechicles that are implemented ingame - such as tanks, helicopters, hovercrafts, fighter jets and more. The game engine holds about 100 players on one server. In-game reward system makes players increase their ranks, starting from recruit, and unlock new weaponry, equipment and more. The environement will be fully destructible (including material penetration feature), and the gamers will fight in different areas, from cities to forests.

If it is a gundam mod you're looking for in Battlefield, look not in BF2, but BF1942. If only more people knew about this mod. It's Gpack, about a fifth of the way down this page. Awesome mod, didn't get anywhere near the credit it deserved. Planetbattlefield.com
this is the best PC shooter out there, no comparisons.
counterstrike and all that other bs is blown to hell, where it belongs.
the graphics on this beat the hell out of battlefronts, and look incredibly realistic.
basically, this game will display the best graphics and GAMEPLAY that your computer can handle.
of course, if you suck online, you wont have fun, or if you have slow internet. but hell, thats your problem!

I really would like to play this game, but since my computer does not run it I have to forget about it.
But then again comes a deja vû game is published by EA so there is no chance I am going to buy it since I have been boycotting EA for long now.
And interesting knowledge would be that how far you can take that enviromental destrcution.
The 1.03 Patch was sappose to be released in late August, it never was, according to my information it should be PUBLICLY released on October 3rd, I dont know if it is true, but that is what I hear
