In Battlefield 2, you are a part of a major conflict between the United States, China and fictious Middle East Coalition. You are armed with modern weaponry (different for every side of conflict) and additional equipment. Player can drive any of 30 vechicles that are implemented ingame - such as tanks, helicopters, hovercrafts, fighter jets and more. The game engine holds about 100 players on one server. In-game reward system makes players increase their ranks, starting from recruit, and unlock new weaponry, equipment and more. The environement will be fully destructible (including material penetration feature), and the gamers will fight in different areas, from cities to forests.

Well, there isn't a gundam mod, but if you love mechs there is MTS, set in the same universe as the mechwarrior games.
hehe. i think it would be cool if some actually does a kick ass gundam mod for this game, where MS are the vehicles.

man this is going be good game, I can't wait to play on multiplayer
yeh, well it's been a while now since i have heard talk about this game, it cathes your eye, but usually when a game looks that good through screenshots/in-game videos, it never ends up looking that great.
I look forward to it anyway, since i am in need of spending money on yet another game :P
NOTE:
After testing lots of horrrible Battlefield 1942 clones I can say:
**please not change the Bf1942 game**
Its superior gameplay and quality.
Of course, able modders to make different gamestyles can help.
Hopefully they add decent AI this time.
I wonder how this game will run, considering how detailed everthing is.

Yep, I like modern warefare better than WW-2 firearms. Even tho I like the M1-Garand.
Cant wait till this game is out next year!
