Battlefield: 1942 is a tactical first-person shooter set in World War II. It introduces combined arms tactics, using tanks and dive-bombers, submarines and carriers, and machinegun nests with AA-artillery. Every aspect of WWII warfare will be accessible to a player and his friends from an FPS perspective, and the ultimate goal is to win enough campaigns to win the war.

The DC Global Front mod's 0.2D beta release is presented as a zip file for installation on both Windows and Mac OS. This is a full install, so delete any existing DCGF folder.
Part 1 includes the core build files and one map: Motor Pool. Part 2 includes the map files.
The DCGF 0.2D release is dedicated to our late friend and mod team member Jake Buitenwerf (sgtjake) who died tragically, one year ago on this date.

Im thinking of buying this game with a good deal new. This game with Vietnam. Is it worth getting? (Work with windows 7?) and is it worth modding? if modding point me to were to begin

But seriously, BF1942 is no longer sold like normal, unless through E-bay, torrents or... that's it i think unless you're lucky enough to find old copies still on the shelves. This game NEEDS to be free!
