Battlefield: 1942 is a tactical first-person shooter set in World War II. It introduces combined arms tactics, using tanks and dive-bombers, submarines and carriers, and machinegun nests with AA-artillery. Every aspect of WWII warfare will be accessible to a player and his friends from an FPS perspective, and the ultimate goal is to win enough campaigns to win the war.

Subs are only in multiplayer from wat ive been told O_o
try looking in the Pacific levels, fly around the Battleships on both teams until u see 1. Personally i dont like them, really annoyin 2 lose
I would like to make a HALO mod on the battle field 1942 system! Although im not the greatest in using milkShape to do this thats why i need a team to help put it all togather! I would like to see one side the covenent and the other the marines! I want to make the ghost! the banshee the wart hog and other vehicals! It would also be nice to have all the weapons possible from the game such as the shotgun, assault rifle sticks grenades both pistols and more. does anybody know anything about the subs, like maby why they are missing?
where ARE the subs? i was really hyped that i would get to pilot a sub and along with them not being there (ive played every map!) The destroyer has depth charges! its like they were ment to be there but were taken out at the last second or something!
