Hello all!
Here is a short news about the state of the game:
It is still not finished and it won't be in the future. We would like to concentrate on our other two projects. We have learned a lot while we worked on Battle of the Games. But now we stopped working on it.
You can download the latest version of the game, but do not expect too much from it.
You can take a look at our other projects on indiedb or you can get the latest news from us if you follow us on twitter or like us on Facebook.
Greetings
Our first Development diary. We show our first screenshots of the game and explain some of our future goals and features.
First and last Release of Battle of the Games. It only contains a bad version of a multiplayer prototype.
nuclear its a starter. for a starter who possibly just learning the machine i see nothing wrong long as this isnt a finished product. add on to it. over time it'll be more fun.
Wow, you seriously couldn't make your own prefab?
You most likely are using the default character motor as-well.
I don't see why you bothered to release this as most of the work was from unity and not yours.
Give the character more weight and it shouldn't bounce as bad, but using default you'll always get bugs. Like clipping walls and getting super jumps.
I think you should get something thats unique and not a tech demo before you release but what ever floats your boat. We all got to start somewhere, doesn't mean we all got to know where you started.
Oh and I forgot to say that that character should be able to jump as high as you see in the video. That isn't a mistake or bug.
Sorry for that...all you see is a test at the moment. I am still working on my own prefabs and own scripts. Don't worry. But I need time for that since I am working alone on the game.
