Using the Lord Of The Rings movie license, The Battle for Middle-earth is a Real-Time Strategy game based upon both the renown literary works of J.R.R. Tolkien, and the film trilogy directed by Peter Jackson. Players are given control of enormous armies in the many of the epic battles depicted in the film. From waging all-out combat among the vast forces of good and evil to controlling your favorite heroes and characters to managing the troops and resources of your side, the fate of a living, breathing Middle-earth is in the player's hands.

Actually there are 3 new factions, Elves, Dwarves and Goblins. And you now have the oppotunity to make walls and buildings whereeva. And you can also have sea battles.
It was announced on July 25 that there will be a new installment from EA in the BFME series. It adds two new factions: Elves and Dwarves, and adds battles that were never seen in the movies, but are inspired by the books. I'M SO PUMPED!!

Anyone able to do a Camera Mod for this?
I would like to be able to zoom out a bit farther than the game allows by default. It feels a bit cramped as it stands.
Haha. That would be an interesting sight to behold! Sounds like another Command and Conquer esque alternate reality.
I wanted to explore the possibility of ADDING the Rise of Rome units into the game instead of replacing the current BFME races/units. That way we can have all the current BFME races plus the races from Rise of Rome all in one great battle!
Ideally I envision Isengard forces under siege by the Roman Army or Gondor pitted against Germania.
Holy snap! Many hours are being spent on this game. Needs a few fixes, but overall great!

Anywho, not a bad game I guess. I didn't really like it, not my style of RTS.
