Okay, now after seeing this, I must request that you make a nice dark map, it will really put that black to use, it looks great.

yay, just please, make sure that its actually dark, to many games have night maps where you can see from one side to the other as if it were day.
i see what you mean by being able to see from one side to another i'll keep that in mind. now don't you think it would be to hard to play if we make it too dark? we are still trying to figure out our setting in our project, it probably would be weird have some maps bright as day then others really dark don't you think?
Not really, it provides a great variety of maps, for example, Battlefield Bad Company 2, has maps with snow, maps in desert locations, even jungles. And being to hard really depends on what your focusing on with this game. If your theme is realism, as it says on this page, then darkness shouldn't be a problem. Maybe you should add some night vision goggles? Although that could ruin the point of a dark map for myself personally, but hey, this is your game, make it the way you feel it should be. I am just making some requests, but of course, you have the final say in whether or not it should be added to the game.
I hate the so-called "night" maps in Battlefield 3... I mean wtf, its bright as day. A really dark map where a flashlight is required to see good, would be awesome :D
Nice, I think I see the theme of this game, are you gonna add GSG-9? or some other Anti-Terrorism Force?

we actually started with the multiplayer gameplay and the networkings of it besides actual network, honestly we don't have a story yet but it seems more like we are starting to develop one according to how we develop it. yes this might be the wrong way lol. any ideas? lol.
Maybe you should make it just a war game. No story. For example, Counter Strike has no story. You just pick your character, and start playing. Just add a few terrorist models and a few counter terrorist models to choose from.
