nowadays a life without databases in unimaginable, because such many features and possibilities are here like:

inventory's
weapon customization
graphic modifications

Think of it. instead of adding billion lines of code you can do the same thing / achieve the same with just a few or single lines.

That is what we are doing. very many features are database driven, so our fans/players can enjoy the game instead of a waste of code which is handled wrong by if - else variables. performance is key, playtime is then the new feature.

database --> less lack of performance --> bigger games --> longer playtime.
it seems all this easy, but not many big players in the league uses this amazing technology.
