cant wait to play =>

just a note, every ut2004 mod that has had motion blur effects caused mac users to crash(so it might be nice to have an option to turn it off).

That motion-blur looks pretty dang cool. I wonder if it would be a possible mutator that could be separate so someone can use it in normal UT2004 with vehicles that are fast enough to give that blurring. Man, would be so helpful in my modding for racing. Just have people download this to get the motion blur mod so it works in my vehicles.

How fast are they running? Top speed of what vehicle, or faster than the Manta even?

i'd say, almost double the mantas speed.

Cool, so about 150MPH. I remember somewhere they said the Manta's Real-World top speed was 75MPH. Heh, my Scorpion's still faster (goes at least 250MPH with ease)!

But are you gonna give the motion-blur as a separate mut or just only for this mod?

Only for this mod.
To make it a seperate mutator would require extra time to get it to work.

Okay, I'll just have to find how to make motion-blur and implement it myself through a separate mut then.

(I was tinkering with the Manta, and I got it to go double speed (150MPH, or 5000 Unreal Units Per Second), and it IS fast! Heh, I can also make it go at least 500MPH... Too fast!)

I noticed Unwheel. a Racing mod for UT2004 has what your after achieving. That will probably be best for you than ADR's motion blur as our code is attached to the character Pawns code not on the vehicles; and would be much easier to see how they did it.

Good luck with your Car mod, and be sure to let us know when its done. :)

I have R5, but the blur is not really there. I'm mainly looking for the amount Burnout Revenge had when boosting, since that is what my mod is based on. I'll just work with what I can. Thanks for helping me though!
