Survive, Adapt, Win
After years of intense warfare against Eastern armies, Europe has become the last stand for the battered NATO forces. On the verge of being driven into the sea, NATO command embarks upon a most desperate measure. In the hope of seizing what seems to be a well-guarded military secret, Operation Magnitude is launched. A small group of Special Forces and Researchers are sent to a Mediterranean island deep behind enemy lines. However, the mission is compromised and the task force destroyed, leaving Cpt. Scott Miller washed ashore upon the hostile island. In his effort to carry out the mission, he will face the dangers of modern warfare, an unforgiving environment, and the consequences of his own decisions...
Combining the strength of its predecessors with radical engine improvements, Arma 3 provides a unique experience of sandbox-oriented combat gameplay in the most detailed environment of the series.
As a treat and peek to the future we present you Lost Dragons Alpha v 0.1.99! Although some bugs still persist and prevent us reaching our goal for 0.2.0 we do want to show some of the new toys we have made.
2014 marked the beginning of our project with Lost Dragons as our entry to the Make Arma Not War community contest. The concept has grown quite a bit from the first draft drawn up over a dinner and the we have great things planned for the future!
Currently the 0.1.99 contains new infantry units, vehicles and a brand new map in progress that will be populated with 100% custom assets. Besides new graphics we also already have built many new scripts and functions to power the new gameplay features such as computer hacking and multi barrel turret support. There is constant development going on under the hood to make our new gamemode "Treasure Hunt" interesting and challenging for you the players.
Some time ago we drew up a roadmap for 2014 listing some major features we aimed to release by the end of the year. Due to time constraints not allowing us to work on the mod as much as we would have liked we unfortunately have not yet reached all the goals on it. Modding Arma is a great and interesting hobby but takes a lot of time too! The roadmap still holds though timetable must be pushed back. Im planning on Making more detailed roadmap for all the intended features and we'll see how far we can get the mod next year.
We would like to thank you all for interest and support! It really has driven us on to see that people like the idea and what we have done already. We do try to keep up steady stream of new pics and updates during the year so keep checking in!
All new toys can be accessed in single player tutorial and in a multiplayer test mission! Please enjoy them and leave feedback on how they felt. The do lack tweaking but the have been a lot of fun to mess around!
I personally would like your input on the new walker as it is build with an experimental method and is a bit tricky to use right now. Bear in mind though that it is far from finished and has only limited functionality right now.
Once more I would like to wish you all very happy new year 2015 on behalf of the whole dev team!
See you all next year!

A great game that is like a gust of fresh air in the smog of modern shooters, this is an intelligent and very well made game that shows thing as they are, none of the shenanigans you see in battlefield, COD etc. The developers are open, honest and upfront with any issues or bugs and take player input seriously instead of just grabbing your money and running. Being Greek myself what I particularly liked was that any in game signs, box labels etc. written in Greek are correct and accurate, the architecture…
