Biotech Industries. An organisation known worldwide for their
research into curing diseases noone thought was possible. Backed by the
United Kingdom and the United States, they use government funding to
extend their research in extending the capabilities of the human immune
system.

You play the role of James Hunt, an ex army British security officer who
migrated to the United States branch of Biotech, switching jobs to
Biotech as a member of security. The job vacancy didnt specify what
exactly he would be doing, although the promise of a high salary was
enough to attract him in.

It was the first day you started work when everything went wrong..

Amazing.

If you make a Alpha version, I promise you I will go around the web telling sites such as CVG and IGN about your mod.

It is cool, it is scary, it is exiting and it's not souped up with unnecessary graphics.
Should keep up making those games.

Yeah, I have to agree with HounderKnight, from what I've derived from the screenshots, this game is making ample usage of the aesthetics found on the Rickenbacker from System Shock 2, and that, indeed, is a most strong compliment. I've had the good fortune of building up a very large video game collection, all but 4 of them coming from the $4 bargain bin (yeah, that dates me some, doesn't it?). Most of those titles I never finished, but System Shock 2 is one of the few that I did.

If you can capture that atmosphere, then you got a real winner on your hands, no doubt about it.

Having a remappable keyboard is an important feature, even if, in the end, it has to be done through a config file. Far better that than none at all.

I love that you have iron sights in the game. If you can, amp up the sense of immersion and vulnerability by getting rid of as much HUD info as possible, and that includes crosshairs (perhaps have them enabled only for the "Easy" mode of game difficulty). Round penetration and the like too.

Alright, that's enough for now. As soon as the file's downloaded I'm installing and playing. More later!

There are remapable keys. Just not remapable mouse buttons.

The HUD is a part of the helmet that you put on in the game (see screenshot of a helmet) It's meant to be a Sci fi heads up display in built on the helmet you see. That's why I can make the HUD flicker for more scary scenes. :)

The screenshots you see are in the newest development of the game and some of it doesnt appear in the demo. It'll be in the full game though, so dont worry ;)

PROS:
Great Music.
Decent Voice Acting.
Interesting Setup.

CONS:
Non-Mappable Mouse Buttons.
FMV that pops open a separate window.
Misspelling on the loading screen (Industries not Industires).

I was unable to exit the first room (Tried 'USE' on everything...I think), so I can't make anymore comments.

I've been noted of the spelling errors.. I should have spell checked before release! >.< I'm sorry that there isnt any mouse maps. The loader I have to code myself for the keys, but the engine itself doesnt allow mouse mapping.

The 'USE' key is F. Did you use it on the vent door? Look through the videos if you get stuck. The keys are on the options bit in the loader.

FPSC is really the drag on this project. The concept, voice acting, music, and mapping are all top notch. Unity, Torque, Source SDK, or UDK would all work better.

I was thinking of going to another engine, but the sheer amount of knowledge I've got of FPSC kind of makes me want to keep using it (5 years with it). I was thinking that when I get this game done, I could perhaps work on a sequel in another engine, perhaps UDK or another engine. :)
