Focusing on legendary leaders, The Conquerors expansion pack challenges Age of Empires 2 veterans and novices alike to wage war on an epic scale with all-new civilizations, unique units and technologies, and campaigns based on infamous conquerors such as Attila the Hun, El Cid and Montezuma.
A new version of Age of Chivalry: Hegemony has been released, adding new graphics and fixing balance issues and bugs.
In version 2.0, no fewer than 26 countries are available to the player: Austria, Bavaria, Bohemia, Brandenburg, Brittany, Burgundy, Denmark, England, Flanders, Florence, France, Friesland, Genoa, Guelders, Helvetia, Hungary, Liège, Milan, Naples, the Papal States, Poland, Savoy, Saxony, Scotland, Venice, and Wales.
The new version addresses some balance issues, for instance toning down overpowered priests by giving them a modest training cost increase for each technology you research that will boost their conversion abilities.
Graphically speaking, this version not only adds a ton of new eye-candy objects, but also improves and completes the two existing building sets for the Baltic countries (Brandenburg, Denmark and Saxony) and the Low Countries (Flanders, Friesland and Guelders). In addition, a number of isolated building graphics have also been replaced or improved, such as the Scottish Princely Court or the Milanese Castle. All these updates should give version 2.0 a much more polished feel.
