Blog RSS Feed Report abuse Latest News: Aeon Command Price Drop to $2.99

0 comments by Minerne on Apr 11th, 2013

We released Aeon Command on PC and Mac around 6 months ago.  We've made lots of updates and fixes since the initial release.  We also added support for Linux, Android and iOS.  Since the mobile price was set to $2.99 USD, we felt that it was only fair to match the price for the PC/Mac/Linux versions as well.

For our first game, we've been very happy with the success of Aeon Command and we hope you guys enjoy the new lower price.

Thanks to everyone that purchased a copy!  You've enabled us to continue doing what we love and making games.  The funds we've earned from Aeon Command will enable us to make our next project even bigger and better.

A question I take it the research I do outside of missions is on top of the research i can do in-mission? Like I maxed out my fighters from the upgrade option on the menu, the latest mission allowed me while in mission to also upgrade at the cost of diamond...but it wasn't explained.

The upgrades outside of the missions and skirmishes are persistent across all games. The upgrades in game are only active during that mission. They do stack. To complete the later missions you will need to purchase a fair number of the persistent upgrades because the difficulty scales dramatically.

What all do you depend upon within ubuntu? Curious - I'd like to see if I can run it with the dependencies that are currently available for Arch linux.

We're running on Unity3D, so I'm not entirely sure what the dependencies are. We just did the base Ubuntu install and tested against that.

It is still not showing up for me, even though the standalone downloads are. Should I contact desura for this?

If you're running a 64 bit version of Linux then it won't be available yet. We submitted the builds earlier and waiting for approval.

Right now its like delayed scrolling, you hold down and swing to a side and it eventually scrolls - its just weird. It would be nice if it just moved as soon as you move the cursor when the mouse is down.

A little delayed, but the camera has been greatly improved in the next patch.

Kind of reminds me of Swords and Soldiers HD on Steam and that wasn't a bad game.
