As a game designer/developer, there comes a moment of huge, intense satisfaction: the moment you see someone else enjoying your game.
Well, that moment has come! And I won’t lie – I am beaming from ear to ear as I write this. It's amazing to think that I've been able to give someone, if just for a few moments, something to smile about. It's AWESOME! So, as promised in the description, here is Sinuyan and his first look at ADDICT. Personally, I enjoy the second video more because it gets to the meat of the game, but you can watch either/both at your leisure.
Obviously, there's a learning curve at the beginning of the game. And there are also a few little bugs/poor design elements I'd like to work out before Friday. And now, the second video!
Like I said at the beginning. . . THIS is the part of game development that feels so rewarding to me! I am extremely excited about ADDICT, and can't wait to share it with the world this Friday :)
Love Sinuyan! are you a yan yourself?
I have become one in a hurry ;) lol Sinu has been doing an awesome job, and I LOVE his style!!
Cool! Also, do you have any advice you'd give to a beginner game designer?(aka me) ?
Wow. . . that is a loaded question ;) lol The short answer would be "never, ever, ever give up!" But there is definitely more to it than that! Tell you what, I'll PM some pointers I have found useful.
