Afterthought Studios is proud to announce that our Kickstarter for A More Beautiful World was successfully funded. Thanks to this funding we have upgraded our sprite art.

InDemand
Another big announcement to make is that we have teamed up with Indiegogo's InDemand initiative. This means that anyone who has missed backing us on our campaign, here on Kickstarter, or do not wish to purchase directly from our store, can go to our InDemand page and back it.
What is InDemand?
InDemand is IndieGoGo's version of a post-Kickstarter store, a service that enables campaign owners to seamlessly transition into the next phase of operations, including accepting product pre-orders.

Due to overwhelming requests for PayPal support, we have added a store on our website!
Currently, on the store, you will be able to back the physical and digital reward tiers (at Kickstarter price!) via PayPal.
Not only that, but if you missed out on our wallpapers or maps, feel free to get them from us via PayPal on our website!
We will be adding more methods of supporting our project soon! Remember that every dime we raise from our PayPal backers will go towards our stretch goals as well!

Writing Update + VIDA
We're sending our already written chapters for editing and so far, have done about three passes. Chapter 4.2, the new chapter is currently 70% to completion.
Our sprite art has been steadily progressing forward as well, so don't worry!
The next thing is something that I'm really excited about. We at Afterthought Studios have always thought about how to give back to the community and VIDA, a Google Ventures-backed fashion e-commerce platform that gives artists, the opportunity to transform their art into beautiful high quality fashion products in a socially conscious way, by giving the gift of literacy for life to their manufacturing factory employees.
What VIDA does is to offer a 3 month crash course in basic literacy, specifically basic reading, writing, and Math skills for illiterate people using profits from any clothing sold on this platform. The program is primarily designed for people who’ve never been inside a school and open to anyone who expresses interest and will benefit from it.
Since we seek to develop visual novels that shape perceptions and thoughts, VIDA is the perfect outlet for all of our artwork!
