Hello to who ever is reading this my name is Javonni and I'm the Lead Level Designer for Dark Storm. (Before we start I will be posting pics of the level through out this article keep in mid that its all wap). Today I want to make this post about how our progress is coming and I want to talk about what I've been doing as the level designer. So right off the bat I want to say that no we are not dead we are currently working very hard on Dark Storm, as for our progress the development it is a bit slow but we are all working on getting back into a normal workflow. Recently we went on Green light (Steam) and we wanted to get some feed back on our game, and we did both positive and negative so we had a meeting about how we can fix this and make it better for players. Which the meeting lasted about three hours.
Over the past couple of months I've been working on the levels by myself until a few weeks ago when we hired a new level designer Sonny Nguyen (btw he's worked on a Mass Effect 3 mp map ;D). We've are working closely with the modelers so we can as much done as we possibly can by then end of June. Since it is summer now some of us don't have school right now we can put more time into the development of the game. So please be patient it does take a long time for us to do this and its not as simple as you think. I wanted take some of my time today to write this post so I can personally tell you myself that we are not going to give up on this project and Thank you for sticking with us through out the year. :D If you've read all the way up to this point then you can check out the rest of the level pics below. Have a nice day. - Javonni

Damn I would love to do voice acting for this game!
Your kickstarter states that you need a license to use Unreal -- but did you consider trying to make a UDK tech demo for people to play? UDK is effectively Unreal Engine 3, so you could get some ground work done.
O no we've been working on the game for the past 4 months. we have been working closely for a demo of sorts soon.
This stuff looks really promising. I emailed your team with my resume and links to my work about possibly joining your team.
Hope to hear back!
awesome!, what kind of work do you do? "modeling, animation, art?"
I am more skilled in modeling, but i have knowledge and experience doing animation, motion graphics and some graphic design as well.
You can see some of my work on my profile page
I may not be a member of the dev team and I may not have much knowledge when it comes to modeling but those sir are some fairly impressive pieces of work, I'd love to see what you do in this project.
