Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory

Based on Return to Castle Wolfenstein's engine, Enemy Territory started as an additional single-player campaign, but quickly evolved into a massive on-line shooter in minds of creators. The final product is a multiplayer-only, tactical and teamplay shooter. Pick your class (Soldier, medic, engineer, covert operations or field operations) and cover your teammates, heal them, build machinegun nests, bridges or deploy landmines, request airstrikes or artillery support, steal your enemy's uniform, and finally give your comrades ammo. In order to be successful, cooperative team playing is required.

guys i started the game and i like it!!! ye its funny! but i have a question as i am a newbie. well sometimes while playing and while on spectator i see the other players having team glow. i mean their bodies are coloured blue and red and its easier to spot while playing. as a newbie is hard for me to see who is on mine team or not. please i d appreciate if you tell me how i can add this option. well 2nd thing i am looking for is a beginner server. if you have an ip i'd love it too. i have many questions about that game. i d like to sare these questions with you. :)
I've been playing this for several years now, sometimes public but most with my clan.
In my opinion it's the best competition/clangame out there.
It has tactics, action (spawnwaves, no wait times), several different objectives and is opensource/moddable.
And Hell, it's FREE!
Anyone playing shooters has to at least try it.
Yeah, ET is really one of the greatest mp shooters!

to play a mod, place the mods folder (if it's a total conversion) to your main et folder (where etmain is located).

why i cant join any server when i select server it starts download something
