The Keepers are rising once again but in a better visual universe, with improved AI and possibly online play' Natural Born Keeper is an ambitious project spear-headed by a programmer nicknamed IKSLM' His aim is to re-make the classic game Dungeon Keeper, but in immense 3D graphics, adding some new and exciting features along the way' This is no easy feat, and IKSLM and the rest of the NBK team have been pain-stakingly modelling the creatures, rooms, items etc' and creating textures to an unbelievable standard' The coding also has to be re-done, this is far more audacious than a simple re-make! There are some small demo's and some screenshots of the progress so far, the rest is on our Forums' This Mod is located at one of the only still active Dungeon Keeper sites/forums left on the net, visit us''' @Keepers of the Dungeon(Currently Out of Action) @Our Forums (There are currently changes going on with the website, but it will be fixed in due time) More Updates coming soon''''' P'S:...

NKB, still kicking and looking good, soon Dungeon Keeper I will have another moment of glory.

NBK is still in progress(as slow as it may seem), but a lot is being done and whispers of 'things' are going round.

Made a "simple" stress-test for the engine. There are 83 different light sources on this image. And every light source is perpixel calculated. I replaced lightmaps for pure perpixel lighting.

This is good, but i think its way too faithful to the original game. DK2 had a better terrain layout and i think you should consider that too.

DK2 also had better bugs that made it crash and cause huge annoyance. :>
oh...did Dungeon Keeper 2 have Ice/snow? NO...

No one wa referring to that. I was merely mentioning DK2 definitively HAD a better terrain layout. DK1, may be good, but its not allmighty and i think using stuff from both games is always a good idea.

Gotta agree here. DK1 was pure awesomeness back then, but DK2 also had nice things I wouldn't want to miss. And the terrain layout was simply better...yeah.
Still love what you're trying to accomplish here and outright can't stand waiting for it :)

I know what you mean.
I'm sure IKSLM knows what he's doing though and probably already thought about doing this, but I can't read minds.
We'll all just have to wait and see. ^^

there was something said about this some time ago but I'm not entirely sure.
You'd have to ask IKSLM on our forums for an answer.
PS: He's under a different Alias on our forums.
