We just got the permission of EA to make Reborn a standalone. What does it mean? It means you won't need Renegade or any other EA games in order to play Reborn. All you will need is to download the client, install and play.

This month I bring you some great news of future betas and new media!
Reborn is really nearing completion of the infantry beta these days, I have been informed that we have only a few minor tweaks and missing textures to work out before we can get it out to the public.
Below is also a bit of a teaser image of the new Mammoth, this is a render + photoshop, so don't get all super excited about the quality of the image, Reborn won't look this good, its a 5 year old engine, remember?
Anyway, here you can already see it in W3D Viewer:

is it just me, or are the jumpjet infantry a little unbalanced
well.. it might be balanced, but i've noticed on my computer, that because of the firering angle my graffic card dont have to draw much, giving me more frames each secund, and the other way around when looking up i got less frames each secund, because of that its possible to aim alot better as a jumpjet since you can folow your bullets path and adjust aim for it. so maybe its not unbalanced.. just unlagged lol
still the mod PWNS!!! just like my screen savers thatt i have loaded on in my persona in my images of C&C 3!!! WOOT
how do you get online with this game via XFire (In other words whats the IP and port number of the server?) TRUST ME IM NO HACKER!

i only know it on gamespy...on gamespy u change renegade`s location to reborn`s location
