We just got the permission of EA to make Reborn a standalone. What does it mean? It means you won't need Renegade or any other EA games in order to play Reborn. All you will need is to download the client, install and play.

erm do i need cnc to play this or has the permission from ea mean that if i download it right now and install it right now that ill be able to play it right now with no cnc or anything else? please right back this looks really good =)

I, too, think the reload animations make up for the lack of vehicles, having 1/7th the maps, the mirrored stats for units on each side even if the graphics are different, and horrible balance. Five years and those are some DAMN nice reload animations that are re-tooled Renegade reload animations.
