We just got the permission of EA to make Reborn a standalone. What does it mean? It means you won't need Renegade or any other EA games in order to play Reborn. All you will need is to download the client, install and play.

Due to the dedication of my team... We have in 2 weeks lost the 2 people that were supposed to add all our assets in-game.
So what is the situation? After working for years with Spice(Exdeath) and Drakangel, they both left us with a nice and great post such as : "I quit."
You know what I am bit furious about that. Well I officialy announce that this mod will go on but yet again it is delayed because of some people...
So guys we are hiring:
- 2 or 3 mappers.
- Technical staff ( rigging, uvw map, level-edit )
- Technical leader (someone who will "build" the mod from all our assets)
They have to be familiar with the renegade engine and proficient (or at least have an understanding) of how to use level edit. Seeming thats how the mod is built and compiled.
Reborn is done. I mean all our models and textures are ready. Even if redo some, everything is DONE! We can still replace models later and that's why I am improving my texture but mark my words : We have everything needed to release it but nobody to build it... A mod "100%" on texturing and modeling side and nobody to put it in game... It's sad.
So help us! "Generals" Modders are welcome, W3D is used on Generals.

Yo are you going to make the Nod Nuke Effects more realistic?
The whole Red blast thing looks so gay.. Ive been waiting for a realistic nuke effect, KINDA like APB (but even still that doesnt look like the best)
this is a sad day in mod history :( reborn did not win anythang. yet that odly looking reborn mech game did wtf may i say. well good luck reborn team and i hope u win 2008 moddy.

ahhh, friday, first day of febuaray, how exaciting, i still visit here quite often lol, in fact i always leave my state as logged in when i leave this site, im also tracking this mod so if something new comes up, im updated.
IMHO I think the team behind this mod, their kind of rude, actualy mean.
I ask them the names of the songs used in the clips of the structures and units and such. no answer
I ask then for a transparent layered version of the logo, for fan pics. no answer
I ask them for information on what shadersystem of pixel shader the game uses. no answer
I ask them if it's possible to upgrade the shaders (overall graphics) of the game. no answer
Why no answers guys? Am I posting at the wrong places? if so then designate me to the right place.

i have looked at the forums and found a (locked) thred about CNC tiberium, i also found the most of the post on there are very hateful they should acully try it b4 knocking it, of coruse when its in stores first, oh and its set right after CNC3.
