White Epsilon has undergone several changes to the design and technical outlook. We have suffered several engine changes and have now settled on the omnipotent KjAPI. This engine is suited to RTS gaming and allows us to stop messing around with engine internals and focus on realizing design.
White Epsilon will be re-launched early in the New Year with a new website, some pre-alpha screenshots and plans for monthly factional updates.
For those who don’t know about White Epsilon, it is a standalone RTS game set during The Cold War. White Epsilon brings a plethora of unique features, including international relations, media, advanced squad tactics, and a unit creation and advancement system that allows for total control.
White Epsilon is early in development, but we promise to bring a breath of fresh air to the RTS genre. Our re-launch will incorporate pre-alpha screenshots, and we implore you all to vote for us for mod of the year, as we hope to be an outstanding upcoming standalone game.

To pardon any confusion, the references you are referring to are old images that are lined up for replacing soon. if not they are unofficial sources. White Epsilon is indeed standalone and will continue to operate on Moddb for the forseable future.
