Finally some good news. I, quite by accident, stumbled across a very recent partial build of Maerchen that I thought I had lost. With it, along with some rewritten code, I've pieced together an executable that represents the furthest in development that we have come. With this newly found code,

Finally some good news. I, quite by accident, stumbled across a very recent partial build of Maerchen that I thought I had lost. With it, along with some rewritten code, I've pieced together an executable that represents the furthest in development that we have come. With this newly found code, I'll spend the next few weeks writing a very basic internal alpha, with which I'll hopefully generate some brand new screenshots.

You might have noticed that I've boosted the websites progress bar to 19%, indicating my interpretation of the effects of this development. With fully functional PlayerClasses, graphical rendering algorithms, and other features that'll now be easier than ever to add, we fully intend releasing a public beta still this year. This could of course all change abruptly as the development of Maerchen has been known to be rather turbulent, but I feel confident that we are on the right track again.
