Quake III Arena (Q3A for short), is the third in the popular Quake series and boy does it not dissapoint. It combines fanatically paced gameplay as one has come to expect, with quite an array of ball-busting weapons.Whethor railing takes your fancy or those mid-air rocket shots, this game rocks, as does it's mods with the awesome Rocket Arena, and ton's more to boast, so dammit what are you waiting for scope out it's mod collection now!
Introducing - "Relativity" a Quake 3 deathmatch map. Escher's Relativity envisioned as a quake map - has 3 ground planes. Try it, you'll like it...if you don't get ill that is. NOTE: you will have to rename this file relativity.pk3. while you can upload zip files this system apparently doesnt recognize pk3's, which are zip files.

Truly the hardest part of the mapping (besides learning the radiant curve mesh I never used before...) was filling in the areas outside the visible print. The entire work is unfinished tho...this map is a cheat - in the final vision you can see simultaneously all players on all groundplanes. This map has 3 copies rotated so each plane is the default quake "floor" plane. Stepping on any sky takes you to the new groundplane dictated by that sky. I envisioned something more like the Escher scene in Labyrinth with the goblin king walking around plane edges. Still trying to wrap my thoughts around the physics mod that would allow for 3 groundplanes on 1 map.
