Update 5
Jun 09, 2008 Patch 0 commentsMinor update to bring new team members up to the most recent version.
The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind is an epic, open-ended single-player game where you create and play any kind of character you can imagine. Be the noble hero embarking on an epic quest, or an insidious thief rising to leadership of his guild. Be a malevolent sorcerer developing the ultimate spell of destruction, or a reverent healer searching for the cure to a plague. Your actions define your character, and your gameplay changes and evolves in response to your actions. Confront the assassins' guild, and they take out a contract on you. Impress them, and they try to recruit you instead. No two sagas are the same in the world of Morrowind.
Gameplay is further extended with the inclusion of The Elder Scrolls Construction Set (bundled with the game). This powerful tool is being used to create the entire game, and will also allow players to modify and add to Morrowind in any way they see fit. Change character or creature attributes and skills, introduce new weapons or dungeons into the game, or create entire new worlds to explore. Consequently mods for this game are everywhere, ranging in size from mere characters to fully themed packs! So should you ever want to expand on your gaming experience, be sure to scope out just a few of the amature modifications available and in existence!

I was thinkin about makin a mod, but id like to know if anyone still plays this first. Personally, i thought if Morrowind had some of the features of oblivion, it would be far better.
have a mod you want hosted? we have set up forums where any mod is welcome, we hope you at least stop by and enjoy your stay, just tell us if you want a mod hosted

Although Oblivion and its fancy graphics is the lates sequal to the elder scrolls series, Morrowind has the better story, better setting, and better atmosphere. This is my all time favorite game! even though i isn't online, it still makes for an exciting, rewarding experience. It's just one of those game i believe will always be cherished, in the likes of pac man! GO MORROWIND *AnD CORNY moments*
i just got it i had it for xbox and i still am waiting to play it because i have 2003 edition for windows when i start playing anyone have any pointers for when i start like who i should be am what i should pick to custmize my person stat things like destruction as one of my things.
i only recently got morrowind. i'm borrowing it from my boyfriend, since i bought him oblivion for his birthday.
i only lag when it snows.
i can't figure out how to fix that.
which is sort of lame.
my computer also has lag problems even tho its proccesor and ram are double of what morrowind requires. MORROWIND RULES ..........JAKE
couldn't have said it better :D
indeed
Morrowind is much better than Oblivion, even though Oblivion is a lot mroe stable, and doesn't screw up my framerate. Oblivion is boring. Morrowind has a great atmosphere, and the mods for MW are still better than those for OB.
