Red Alert: A Path Beyond brings the exciting storyline and epic clashes from the classic Westwood Studios game, Command & Conquer: Red Alert to realm of first person shooters, with a twist. We've remained loyal to the style and feel of the 1996 classic, while integrating content from its expansions Counterstrike and The Aftermath with a bit of updated history to add to the mix. Built off the W3d engine Westwood Studios built for classics such as Earth & Beyond and Command & Conquer: Renegade finished up in 2001, we help bring the fight to you as you play out your role as any one of a number of infantry classes participating in team-based combat that often involves land, sea, and air combined-arms clashes that just don't happen in any other game. Oh, and did we mention it is FREE?

I know it's been a while since we updated here on ModDB, but unlike some mod teams that just means that we're buckling down and getting some serious work done. =) First off are 27 brand-new screenshots, which feature some great explosions. I've put up a FAQ for those questions that we're friggin' tired

First off are 27 brand-new screenshots, which feature some great explosions.
I've put up a FAQ for those questions that we're friggin' tired of typing the answers for in our forums, and I will be adding to it regularly.
Goodies-wise, we have a Humvee Skin featuring the official mod logo, as well as a new music track from Red Alert.
Gernader8 has been working hard and finally completed the Sub Pen model, click the picture below to check out two brand-new model shots. You may ask why he has modeled the sub pen if we've been saying all along that there will be no naval combat, but I'm proud to announce tonight that we will have naval combat! At minimum, there will be a Gunboat, Submarine, and Transport. (I also hear rumors of another mod chat coming up soon...) We'll have more details on naval combat later, but for now enjoy these shots of the Sub Pen!
