Multiplayer First Person Shooter
Red Alert: A Path Beyond brings the exciting storyline and epic clashes from the classic Westwood Studios game, Command & Conquer: Red Alert to realm of first person shooters, with a twist. We've remained loyal to the style and feel of the 1996 classic, while integrating content from its expansions Counterstrike and The Aftermath with a bit of updated history to add to the mix. Built off the W3d engine Westwood Studios built for classics such as Earth & Beyond and Command & Conquer: Renegade finished up in 2001, we help bring the fight to you as you play out your role as any one of a number of infantry classes participating in team-based combat that often involves land, sea, and air combined-arms clashes that just don't happen in any other game. Oh, and did we mention it is FREE?

Blog Changes
In a radical new marketing move (not really) the APB development blog will now be posted each week on a Sundays, yes we have moved from Wednesday to Sunday. This will help us bring you blogs on time as the middle of the week tends to be hectic for most of the staff. The bonus of a Sunday blog is that you'll get a short break between AR and APB blogs, so you don't have to wait so long till next weeks batch of blogs. On that note, this weeks blog will now be posted Sunday, a short delay but you'll be getting some juicy information about the APC, and revisions of the balancing in the current internal build.

Important Announcement
We are considering dropping support for older operating systems for APB, the outcome of this decision will be heavily influenced by this poll we have created, please take your time (about 20 seconds is all it takes) to vote in the poll and tell us what operating system you use on your gaming computer.
Only registered members can share their thoughts. So come on! Join the Mod DB community today (totally free) and do things you never thought possible.
DO NOT DROP SUPPORT. if you do this your are no better than Microsoft.
As I already explained to you on the forums, such a decision isn't done just because we feel like dropping support.
The only reason for dropping support is a feature (a rather critical one that I can't tell you about yet) that we want to implement, but this feature can't work on ME, 9x, NT.
