Red Alert: A Path Beyond brings the exciting storyline and epic clashes from the classic Westwood Studios game, Command & Conquer: Red Alert to realm of first person shooters, with a twist. We've remained loyal to the style and feel of the 1996 classic, while integrating content from its expansions Counterstrike and The Aftermath with a bit of updated history to add to the mix. Built off the W3d engine Westwood Studios built for classics such as Earth & Beyond and Command & Conquer: Renegade finished up in 2001, we help bring the fight to you as you play out your role as any one of a number of infantry classes participating in team-based combat that often involves land, sea, and air combined-arms clashes that just don't happen in any other game. Oh, and did we mention it is FREE?

Description

Phase Tanks are incredibly expensive and
incredibly fragile. Drivers must take care, as an
impact from heavy weapons and the resulting
destruction of the vehicle still will often prove
fatal. It is an effective guerrilla warfare
vehicle, able to sneak about the battlefield with
a reduced radar signature whenever its tracking
systems are off at least; volleys of up to eight
anti-armor rockets are easy to snap off before
hiding out of sight once more, making it ideal for
ambushing lighter-armored Tesla Tanks and V2
Launchers, even if they are escorted. However,
should a V2 Rocket or Tesla bolt strike the Phase
Tank, it will likely neutralize both the tank and
the driver in one swoop. Also, while their
munitions will damage air units, the launcher has
no ability to adjust its vertical alignment,
making aiming difficult against flying targets.

Phase Tanks, due to cost and relatively new
construction, are available in limited quantities.
Before you purchase one, you may select from a
forest, sandy, urban, or snowy color scheme. The
Phase Tank will disappear from sight and show up
as an unusually small mark on radar whenever it
goes for a few seconds without engaging in combat.
Do not let the Soviets get their hands on one...
just imagine if Volkov captured one of the newest
models.
