3089 is a futuristic, procedurally generated, open-world action role-playing game. All terrain, enemies, weapons, items, quests & more are uniquely generated. You are a promising robotic android design, made by the Overlord, placed on planet Xax. Your performance in common combat, support & intel scenarios is being closely watched. However, will you become too much for them to handle? What else on planet Xax exists that the Overlord doesn’t know about?

Hey all,

Thanks to feedback from the artist @ Swawa3d.com, 3089 got some usability improvements. Take a look at how the item descriptions look now:

Things are much better organized & aligned, making it much easier to read. A "damage per second" value has been added to weapons, which should make comparisons easier. Finally, the box will follow the mouse cursor, and not always be centered on the screen.

I've also "capped" the size of the user interface, so players with high resolution displays won't see the interface stretched across the screen.

The other change you may notice is an option for "Jump Control" in the input configuration section. This will allow you to hold down the jump key to control the height of your jump. This option defaults to "off", which was the behavior before this update. Read about the rest of the updates here: 3089game.wordpress.com

Preparing for an early January release on Steam! I'm also gathering Steam keys to send to current owners, just as I did with 3079.

OK, back to work!

This is one of the most interesting and addicting games I've played in a while. Great work.

I cannot manage to connect to any server (neither can my friends), have a friend connect to mine, nor have I found much instruction on the matter. I've followed the in game instructions but no luck. Is this a bug for everyone or just me?

Any help would be appreciated. And again, fantastic work.

It may be servers are no longer active... if someone starts a server, plays for a bit & then leaves, the server won't exist anymore to connect to (but it will show up in the list). I may be able to get Tweets deleted when a user disconnects a server, which may be helpful... the trick is to follow @3089game on Twitter and try joining a game right when one starts:

I checked the Twitter, but even if I start a server and have my friend try to join there is no luck. Same thing if he creates a server and I try to join. I have only ever read "Server full or bad address" when attempting to join an existing server or one recently created (with only the host in it)

I was having the same problem but port forwarding fixed it for both me and my friend. I had to log into my router and set port forwarding. Here is a simple step by step for how to do that Wikihow.com

Great game! (sorry for my bad english). I want to buy the complete version (i playing with the demo) but... i've also noted that you are using for the game some music that is copyrighted with creative commons licence without crediting the author! I'm talking about this song:

Jamendo.com

you can use freely without paying nothing because the licence allow it.. but you also must cite the original author! Please you can create in the game main menù (or in another place) a page with all the credits of all external material you used for the game? (zero project is a my "friend"... i don't want to pay a game that don't respect his copyright)

I do credit the author & I appreciate their great music.

In the Main Menu, go to Credits and "zero-project" is listed under "Music"

Also, I've had some reports that you may need to enable "Compatibility mode" for Windows 7 & possibly disable visual themes.

HHHrrrrmmmm.... do you have the latest Java 7 installed from Java.com Also, try running it via the command line (created by running "cmd"). Go to the 3089 directory and enter in:

java -jar 3089.exe

... and see what it says...
